I have been doing this blog (in various incarnations) for roughly 10 years now. After some internal struggles and a lot of thought, I have decided to move on to other ventures.
I am certain that this decision will, most likely, go by unnoticed, but for me… its the end of a long relationship.
I have spent the last 15 years or so writing essays, books, blog posts, debating on forums, going to meetings, etc. and it seems I have gotten nowhere. It feels like it has been a complete waste of my time.
“We the People” are fucked, and it seems it is self-imposed.
Most people have become so sheep-like… herded, indoctrinated, and made so passive that they barely whimper when the wolves rip their flesh from the bone.
If this post seems angry, it is because I am angry. I am angry at my fellow man for being so willing to throw away their morals, their individuality, their liberty, and their hope.
Even the “liberty minded” have become passive and weak. Tyranny has been at war with us for a very long time, and yet most people in the liberty movement keep waiting for the “shot heard ’round the world” for the start of the next revolution… as if being murdered by the police; being disarmed; checkpoints; having our liberties stripped away; and watching our country transform into a North American version of Nazi Germany isn’t enough. What’s it going to take? Do the trains have to literally be filled and on their way to the concentration camps before you put down your cell phones, grab your balls, and remember you are men?
I leave this blog as an archive, and will give some links below that you will find informative. I am going to try my hand at some podcasts and see what happens. I still believe in you, but my patience is wearing thin.
Texas man arrested for suspected premarital sex with 16-year-old wife
Story:
The marriage may be legal but the suspected premarital sex was not, authorities said on Saturday after arresting a 41-year-old Houston-area drama teacher for the alleged sexual assault of a child, his 16-year-old wife.
Ilich Guardiola, who also works as a voice actor in Japanese animations, was pulled over in a traffic stop in the Houston suburb of Spring Valley last month and later questioned about his relationship with the teen riding with him, police said.
Shortly after the incident, Guardiola married the teenager, who has not been identified, in Las Vegas with the approval of her mother, who witnessed the wedding.
Police said there is circumstantial evidence that the two engaged in a sexual relationship prior to legal marriage.
“The marriage is absolutely legal. We received a copy of the marriage certificate,” said Gary Finkelman of the Spring Valley Police Department.
Guardiola was arrested on Thursday at his Houston-area apartment for violating a Texas law that forbids sex with a child, regardless of the child’s consent. A child is defined as a person under 17 years of age.
Guardiola’ bail has been set at $50,000 and no lawyer has been listed as representing him, according to his arrest record.
Outraged Albuquerque Citizens Demand Arrest of Police Chief

Albuquerque citizens continue to demonstrate that they have had enough of their increasingly violent police department. The Albuquerque Police Department has even had its acronym changed by residents to mean Another Person Dead.
The long-standing dissatisfaction reached a new level following the blatant execution of a homeless man that was passed off as justified by police chief Gordon Eden. You can see the video here and judge for yourself whether proper force was used in this case of “illegal camping.”
The APD is so out of control that even the morally bankrupt Department of Justice was forced into a two-year investigation that resulted in them acknowledging the systematic use of egregious violence and a laundry list of general misconduct.
They drove her to police headquarters in downtown Portland, where she had her fingerprints and mugshot taken.
Latoya Harris couldn’t believe what was happening as she watched the officers head off with her daughter in the back seat. The girl was still wet after running through a neighborhood sprinkler, wearing flip flops and a pink Velco wrap-around towel over her swimsuit.

Michigan Cops Attack Mentally Ill Man in Disturbing Dash Cam Video

A disturbing dash cam video shows a group of Michigan police officers pouncing on a mentally ill man who was doing nothing more than standing on a residential street trying to fix his bicycle chain.
The first Dearborn cop pulls up, steps out of the car and begins donning gloves – a usual indicator he is about to get physical.
And sure enough he does, insisting on patting Ali Baydoun down for weapons, even though he was not doing anything that would have given the cop a reasonable suspicion that he had or was about to commit a crime.
If anything, the cop should have had a reasonable suspicion that Baydoum was mentally ill and was possibly not understanding the situation.
But recognizing and working with mentally ill citizens has never been a priority for police departments in this country where the general attitude is escalate the aggression until the mentally ill man is either dead or incarcerated.
A Killeen, TX police officer has died after being shot during a no-knock search warrant Friday.
According to KXXV, Detective Charles “Chuck” Dinwiddie succumbed to his injuries at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, just after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Dinwiddie, along with three other officers were injured in Friday’s shooting.
Authorities went to a four-plex apartment on the 1100 block of Circle M Dr. to serve a search warrant. When Dinwiddie and another officer tried to enter the apartment, 50 year-old Marvin Louis Guy and a 49 year-old woman opened fire on authorities, hitting Dinwiddie in the face and Officer Odis Denton in the leg.
Now, because the state claims the authority to tell people what they can and cannot put in their bodies, a man is dead, and another faces three attempted capital murder charges.
Marvin Louis Guy is being held in the Killeen City Jail on a three million dollar bond, one million for each count against him.
The raid happened at 5:30 in the morning and, from what we can tell on the official report, no notification was given prior to police trying to enter the residence.
According to the KPD press release,
On Friday May 9, 2014, just after 5:30am, members of the Killeen Police Department Tactical Response Unit and the Bell Organized Crime Unit were attempting to serve a narcotics search warrant. The TRU was beginning to breach the window when the 49 year old male inside, opened fire striking four officers.
Is this a case of ‘capital murder’ or is this a case of self defense? Hopefully justice is served in this case.
But that longstanding tradition, typically held around Cinco de Mayo, is in jeopardy.

DHS Emails Reveal U.S. May Have Terrorist “Hands Off” List

The Obama administration appears to have a terrorist “hands off” list that permits individuals with extremist ties to enter the country, according to internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) documents obtained by a United States Senator.
It’s unimaginable that any government would do this, but it seems like the Obama administration is constantly breaking new ground. The disturbing details of this secret initiative were made public this week by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who has obtained DHS electronic mail discussing what could be a terrorist “hands off” list. The exchange includes a 2012 email chain between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) asking whether to admit an individual with ties to various terrorist groups. The individual had scheduled an upcoming flight into the U.S., according to an announcement issued by the senator.
The person was believed to be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and a close associate and supporter Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, according to the mail exchange obtained by Grassley’s office. The terrorist suspect had also been in secondary inspection “several dozen times of the past several years,” the agency emails reveal, but had not undergone a secondary inspection since 2010. This seems to imply that the suspect has been on the U.S. government’s radar for some time.
Chicopee woman faces wiretapping charges after allegedly recording her own arrest

When she was about to be arrested, police say the woman activated the voice recording feature on her smart phone, hid it in her purse and surreptitiously recorded the entire arrest. Now she faces the unusual charge of unlawful wiretapping.

“When they put the handcuffs on I thought, `Wait a minute, this has got to be a joke,’” recalled Latoya Harris, describing the arrest of her 9-year-old daughter last May. “The look on my daughter’s face went from humiliation and fear, to a look of sheer panic.”
At the time, the girl was wearing a bathing suit and a towel, still damp from running through a neighborhood sprinkler. She was taken away in handcuffs by officers David McCarthy and Matthew Huspek, fingerprinted, photographed, but never charged with a crime. She was held at police headquarters for an hour before her frantic mother — who didn’t have a car — could retrieve the girl from her captors.
The stated purpose of the visit was to investigate a playground fight that had taken place a few days earlier. The actual purpose of the arrest was probably to serve some depraved impulse on the part of the officers to assert their supposed authority over an intimidated but uncooperative child.
According to the Oregonian newspaper, Officer McCarthy — who, like others in his disreputable profession, fancies himself a mentalist of sorts — believed that the child wasn’t telling the truth in her account of the scuffle. His report characterized her statements as “vague,” and recalled that he observed her “breathing speed up,” an entirely appropriate response to the unwelcome presence of an armed and bellicose stranger.
“They repeatedly asked her, `Why don’t you tell me what really happened?” recalls the mother. The officers hauled her away on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. They refused to allow the mother to accompany the daughter in the back of the police car.

In perhaps the largest case of contagious fire on record, a suspect’s vehicle was riddled with hundreds of bullets in a chaotic and frenzied show of police force following a pursuit. Witnesses emphatically said that the vehicle’s 2 occupants were trying to surrender, but that did not stop a total of 23 police officers from firing at least 377 shots at the vehicle. The officers’ wild volleys of bullets struck not only the suspects, but also neighboring houses, businesses, vehicles — even fellow police officers.
The situation occurred early in the morning hours of of December 10th, 2013. Questions about the use of force have lingered about this case for months.
A robbery suspect, Adrian Montesano, had his vehicle pinned between a utility pole and a tree following a pursuit at approximately 5:00 a.m. Dozens of officers had participated in the chase — so many that it worked to their detriment.
As the blue Volvo remained stationary, officers aimed their rifles towards it from every angle. For nearly 2 minutes, officers tensely waited with weapons aimed.
Suddenly, one of the officers opened fire. The gunshots caused other officers to join in. Roughly 50 shots were fired at once.
This would only be the opening volley. The real fireworks were yet to come.
Last summer, I was at dinner during a sales convention. The conversation didn’t get political until someone mentioned the NSA.
There is one in every crowd. Someone piped up and said, “They can spy on me all they want. I am not doing anything wrong.”
They sang this song in Germany in 1933. And they sang it with unprecedented gusto in the months following 9/11, all in the name of “security” and “keeping us safe”.
MGMGrandWe were at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, the world’s second largest hotel. Nothing in the post-9/11 “national security” apparatus would prevent a terrorist from walking in, setting off a bomb, and killing hundreds or even thousands of people.
The more important questions are: How do you know you are doing nothing that could be construed as wrong by some state functionary? How do you know you are not breaking some law somewhere? And why are you so implicitly trusting that your government would never do anything evil with the information it has collected on you?
The boy’s father, Robert Bernard Keller, is suing the Beaverton Police Department and Beaverton School District in Federal Court after his 13-year-old son, B.R.K, was pulled out of class at Raleigh Hills and sent to the principal’s office for drawing a picture of a hanging man which was deemed to be threatening by school officials.
Despite the boy’s parents clearly expressing their demand that he not be interviewed alone, B.R.K. was questioned by both school psychologists and then interrogated by Beaverton Police Department officers about the drawing. HIs parents were not even notified that the police had been called, according to the lawsuit.
In his new book, No Place to Hide, Glenn Greenwald writes:
The perception that invasive surveillance is confined only to a marginalised and deserving group of those “doing wrong” – the bad people – ensures that the majority acquiesces to the abuse of power or even cheers it on. But that view radically misunderstands what goals drive all institutions of authority. “Doing something wrong” in the eyes of such institutions encompasses far more than illegal acts, violent behaviour and terrorist plots. It typically extends to meaningful dissent and any genuine challenge. It is the nature of authority to equate dissent with wrongdoing, or at least with a threat.
The record is suffused with examples of groups and individuals being placed under government surveillance by virtue of their dissenting views and activism – Martin Luther King, the civil rights movement, anti-war activists, environmentalists. In the eyes of the government and J Edgar Hoover’s FBI, they were all “doing something wrong”: political activity that threatened the prevailing order.
The FBI’s domestic counterintelligence programme, Cointelpro, was first exposed by a group of anti-war activists who had become convinced that the anti-war movement had been infiltrated, placed under surveillance and targeted with all sorts of dirty tricks. Lacking documentary evidence to prove it and unsuccessful in convincing journalists to write about their suspicions, they broke into an FBI branch office in Pennsylvania in 1971 and carted off thousands of documents.

The Myth of Prejudice

I don’t believe in racism, sexism, or homophobia. There, I said it. While all three are prevalent all over the world, I don’t think they exist here in the West. Of course, there is a kid in a schoolyard right now saying “Nigger,” but there are so many black kids saying the same sort of thing about white people, it cancels itself out. There are some nutbars out there who don’t like people just because they’re black, but there are so many others who lavish preferential treatment on blacks, the sum of the game is zero racism.
Some of my best friends are black and many of them turn purple with rage when I suggest this possibility. The most common response is that I may not even ponder such things because I’m white. One woman told me about the hell she goes through as a person of color because store employees follow her around like she’s a shoplifter. She is the only individual in her family who has an education. Her sister is in jail and both her brothers are dead from gang-related murders. The shopkeepers who are suspicious of her are only off by one sibling. That’s not prejudice. That’s postjudice. What’s more important than leering stares is that she had the same opportunities as everyone else. Because she tried hard in school and refused to waste time partying, she became a successful and happy Woman of Color.
